Soft, diffused pigment for a permanent flush of colour — or individually placed freckles for a natural, sun-kissed finish that never washes off.
The Treatments
Cheek blush tattoo applies soft, diffused cosmetic pigment to the apples of the cheeks — creating the appearance of a permanent, natural flush of colour. Unlike conventional blusher which sits on the surface of the skin, cheek blush tattoo is implanted just beneath the skin's surface, giving a more organic, skin-like result that looks like your cheeks after a light outdoor walk rather than makeup applied with a brush.
The pigment is colour-matched to complement your natural skin tone and blended with soft edges so the transition between treated and untreated skin is seamless. The result is a youthful, fresh-faced appearance — even with no makeup on.
Freckle tattoo is a separate technique that places individual pigment dots across the nose and cheeks to simulate natural freckles. Each dot is placed with deliberate variation in size, spacing, and depth to avoid the uniform, artificial look that over-placed freckles can create. The goal is a result that looks genuinely sun-kissed — casual, effortless, and completely convincing.
Both treatments are available individually or in combination, and both can be tailored in intensity — from barely-there to noticeably present — based entirely on your preference.
Both Treatments
Pigment is custom blended to your skin tone and applied in soft, diffused passes across the cheek area. A topical numbing cream is applied first. The session takes approximately 1–1.5 hours. Colour appears significantly more vivid immediately after and softens considerably as the skin heals over 2–3 weeks.
Individual freckle dots are placed using a machine, with deliberate variation in size and spacing to create a natural-looking distribution. The placement pattern is designed collaboratively — you'll approve the general layout before work begins. Session duration is approximately 1 hour.
Both treatments follow a similar healing path — colour is initially bolder than the final result, softening significantly over 2–3 weeks. Freckles in particular may appear darker and more defined immediately after, settling into a softer, more natural tone once healed.
Cheek blush typically lasts 1–2 years; freckle tattoo 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Both can be refreshed as needed to maintain the result.
Keep the treated area dry for 5–7 days. Avoid sun exposure during healing and apply SPF daily once healed — UV exposure is the primary cause of premature fading in both treatments.
Both treatments suit clients who want a natural, low-maintenance enhancement. Cheek blush is particularly popular with clients who feel their complexion looks flat or tired without makeup. Freckle tattoo is ideal for those who want the aesthetic of natural freckles without sun exposure.
Investment
Both treatments are priced individually. Combination sessions (cheek blush and freckles together) are available — contact us for a personalised quote.

Frequently Asked
When performed correctly, yes. The key is in the colour selection and the softness of the edges — a well-executed cheek blush should look like your own natural colouring, not like applied makeup. Daniela works conservatively, particularly on the first session, to ensure the result integrates naturally with your skin.
Yes — the number, size, and distribution of freckles is entirely customisable. Daniela will work with you to design a placement pattern before beginning. You can go as subtle or as expressive as you like.
Only if they are placed too uniformly. The goal at Monarch is deliberate irregularity — variation in dot size, depth, and spacing that mimics the random distribution of natural freckles. The result should pass as real under any scrutiny.
Cheek blush typically lasts 1–2 years; freckle tattoo 1–3 years. Longevity depends on your skin type, sun exposure habits, and skincare routine. Both fade gradually and naturally rather than disappearing abruptly.
Topical numbing is applied to the face before both treatments. The cheeks and nose area are moderately sensitive — most clients find the sensation very manageable, rating discomfort at 2–3 out of 10.
